!!!!SPOILER ALERT!!!!: The She Stuffed Him Theory

         
         
            In the story, The Landlady by Roald Dahl, Billy Weaver needs/wants a place to stay the night before his new job. He sees this smaller, cozy looking Inn with a blazing fireplace, a parrot and a small dog on a chair. But the lady swings open the door and gives him a warm creepy smile and greets him in. Billy is told that he gets the whole second floor to himself. When he goes back down to the first floor to sign the guestbook he notices that there was only two more signatures in the book. And the two signatures were from two and three years ago. The he noticed the dog and parrot's were both stuffed he became really confused.

           
           
            She has already stuffed her pets, Mr.Temple and Mr.Mulholland and now Mr.Weaver! In the end of the story he asks "Are the others are still here after all of these years?" and she replied, "Only you." But she had said before that they were still up on the third floor, and then said that they weren't. And that shows that they are up there but dead. The tea had something in it that smelt weird like poison. So she poisoned him and stuffed him.
